Marina Cap Cana announce their 2015 fishing tournaments

Marina Cap Cana celebrates the fishing season with its own signature tournaments; the Cap Cana White Marlin and the Cap Cana Classic, which regularly lure in an average of 40 adventurous vessels.

Since opening in 2007, Marina Cap Cana has managed to stand out among the major marinas in the Caribbean thanks to its full service facilities and its geographical location,. It is strategically situated at rowing distance from world renowned White and Blue Marlin fisheries, which have been ranked worldwide by “The Billfish Report” as first in 2013 and sixth in 2014.

Marina Cap Cana and the Billfish Foundation sternly advocate the catch-and-release of billfish, and in 2014, fishing crews released a whopping 2,632 of which 1,033 were blue marlins, 1,535 white marlins, 60 sailfish and four spears.  

Approximately 450 boats and 1,800 fishing enthusiasts visit Marina Cap Cana year after year, which includes internationally renowned fishing teams and professionals from all parts of the globe.
 
The marina is devoted to producing entertaining family-oriented events and invite all to participate in the 2015 fishing tournaments:

• The Triple Crown, from 17th - 22nd March,
• The Abordo Fishing Derby, from 23rd - 25^th April,
• The White Marlin Classic, from  7th - 10^th May,  
• The Cap Cana International Billfish Shootout, from  8th - 15th June,
• The Cap Cana Classic, from 11th - 13th September

As part of the agenda of their tournaments, Marina Cap Cana invites you to mingle with fellow anglers at the welcoming cocktail parties at the Yacht Club.
