MasterCraft Boats UK attends Opportunities in Superyachts conference

Last week saw the fourth annual ‘Opportunities in Superyachts’ conference in Malta, where MasterCraft Boats UK was in attendance.

Attendees debated specialist topics of interest, before a keynote speech was delivered by Malta’s Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, the Hon. Joe Mizzi. Speakers included experts in finance, tax and VAT, employee regulation and trends in refit as well as safety and security.

Speaking about attending the Opportunities in Superyachts conference, Michael Hardicker, MD of MasterCraft Boats UK said, “The event was really worthwhile for us. It was good to speak with so many industry experts and it extends our understanding of superyacht ownership and the specific challenges encountered as these significant assets move around the world.”

It was MasterCraft’s first time attending the event, after entering the superyacht market in 2014, offering bespoke water sports tenders with a Yanmar diesel on-board. MasterCraft Boats UK now completes worldwide sales of its bespoke luxury performance sports boats, which range from 6.1m to 7.92m in length. The 7.92m model is MasterCraft’s largest currently, and features a large interior and highly adaptable layout which includes a wet bar and refrigerator.
