MasterCraft introduces its new XT25

MasterCraft Boats has unveiled the new XT25, the yard’s largest multi-purpose crossover boat to date, measuring in at 7.7 metres (25 foot).

The flagship in MasterCraft’s 2018 line-up, the XT25 is the latest addition to its XT crossover boat range. Dubbed a “party boat” by the yard given the plentiful space on board in its new interior layout, the XT25 can accommodate up to 18 people. It offers more rear-facing seating than on previous XT models, to enhance socialising and “watersports action on the water”.

The two new rear-facing seat designs include a standard flip-up seat that can convert into a bench seat, and an optional starboard pull-up seat with a raising backrest that also converts into a bench seat.

Michael Hardicker, managing director of MasterCraft Boats UK, said, “This new model will be ideal for large groups and particularly for superyacht charters where entertaining and maximising fun on the water are important elements of the charter offering – and with space for up to 18 it can double up for limousine duty too.”

The new crossover hull bottom on the XT25 delivers large wakeboard wakes and customisable surf waves. MasterCraft’s award-winning Gen 2 Surf System has been incorporated into the design, creating three zones of sculpted lips and sizable curling surf waves, while it also boasts the yard’s DockStar Handling System for precise handling in tight spaces.

The XT25 can be seen for the first time at Düsseldorf Boat Show 2018 on Saturday 20th January, where MasterCraft will be holding a number of events to celebrate its 50th anniversary. 10 other brand new boats will be on display, including the 50th Anniversary ProStar and the brand new 2018 XSTAR, as well as the first MasterCraft boat ever built.
