In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Having showcased its 38 Open White Pearl at boot Düsseldorf in January 2018, Mazu Yachts has revealed a new model that follows its Open models in terms of styling and performance: The 52 Hard Top.
Built of carbon composite in a lightweight sandwich construction for rigidity and strength, the Mazu 52 Hard Top offers more interior volume and deck space, and a new open-sided carbon-composite hardtop for protection from the sun, to continue the “handcrafted, superyacht feel” of the Mazu range, with enhanced on-board comfort for extended overnight cruising.
Halit Yukay, Mazu CEO and lead designer, said, “We’ve developed a bigger boat with stylishly sleek and aggressive profile to keep the centre of gravity low for optimal stability and seakeeping, while also offering exceptional comfort and performance.”
Accommodation consists of two guest cabins with separate bathroom facilities and a lounge area. Key features include a large foredeck, protected cockpit, open aft deck and swim platform.
Power comes from twin Volvo IPS 800 engines of 600hp each for a top speed of 37 knots. At a cruising speed, she will reach 32 knots.
Already in build at the Mazu shipyard in Istanbul, the first 52 HT is expected to be launched at the end of May before undergoing sea trials. She will then be presented at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show.
