Mengi Yay releases new renderings of 44m superyacht Virtus

With construction well underway on Mengi Yay’s latest 43.6-metre (143-foot) superyacht project Virtus, the Turkish shipyard has released new renderings.

Scheduled for completion at the end of 2019, Virtus features naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects, with Italian design studio Venetian Yacht Design (VYD) and BTA Design heading up her interior and exterior styling.

The yacht builder has reported construction of her steel hull to be almost finished, with work on her aluminium superstructure currently underway.

On board, Virtus has four staterooms for guest accommodation, in addition to a generous master suite and four crew cabins. Also in place are a large saloon for entertaining and a beach club on the stern side.

All areas of the boat feature ultra-high sound insulation, while twin CAT engines give a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Paolo Dose from VYD said, “Virtus is the product of a strong and elegant design approach, with a sleek profile and innovative technology. These strong and pure lines are what make Virtus special, coupled with the fantastic experience of Mengi Yay.”
