MHG Insurance Brokers is the latest company to partner with the IGY Anchor Club, further expanding their reach in the superyacht industry. The IGY Anchor Club provides partners with the opportunity to reach IGY customers across seven countries and 13 marinas, broadcasting messages of new developments and services within the industry.
MHG’s goal is to relay the importance of all types of insurances, but particularly health, life and disability insurance for yacht captains and crew. Clayton Swart, manager of business development of MHG commented, “Captains and crew are exposed to hazards that could seriously affect their short and long term financial goals. In addition, given the recent changes in Health Care Reform and the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006), we want to take this opportunity to reach out to captains and crew who have concerns and questions as well as to simply pass along what we know to those that do not.”
The formation of MHG University aims to educate captains and crew on recent insurance changes and the affect this has on individuals within the industry. With their experience and knowledge, MHG is happy to answer any questions regarding healthcare and insurance decision-making.
