Mondomarine’s first SF40 superyacht makes debut transcontinental voyage

The first Mondomarine SF40 superyacht, Serenity, has made her first transcontinental voyage from Savona in Italy to the docks of Dubai in time for the 2016 Dubai International Boat Show.

Leaving the Mondomarine shipyard on 20^th January, Serenity sailed across the Mediterranean Sea, passing by Messina and through the Suez Canal for gateway to the Red Sea a week later. 

On her journey, she stopped briefly in Salalah in Oman before arriving in Dubai on 9^th February, completing the 4,500 miles in preparation for the show, which kicks off on 1^st March 2016.

Luca Vallebona designed Serenity’s exterior profile and layout, giving her a striking and clean exterior, while her interiors were undertaken by Dubai-based designer, Fatema Almaidan.

Marking the first of the SF40 line from Mondomarine, Serenity was first unveiled at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show and is now marked as a highly anticipated member of the Dubai International Boat Show line up.

After the show, Serenity is expected to leave for a week-long Persian and Oman Gulf tour, where she will reach Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Oman.
