Moore Stephens Yachting promotes James Allen

Moore Stephens Yachting, leading providers of corporate and trust solutions and specialist consulting services, has announced the promotion of James Allen.  James’ new role will involve meeting clients on a regular basis, yacht registrations, preparing documents and assisting with vessel insurance and surveys. 

James holds an MCA Master 500gt unlimited yacht license, which extends the Master of Yachts 500 tons (offshore) ticket for international ocean passages.

Before joining Moore Stephens, he spent seven years working aboard yachts all over the world. James quickly progressed through the ranks and having undertaken roles such as deckhand, bosun, and first mate, he began skippering vessels for private clients. He continues to sail in his free time.

James explained, “It’s a great way to start the year, I’m really pleased.  It’s been fantastic to be onshore and to gain so much exposure to corporate, financial and technical matters whilst still being able to use my practical yachting experience.  Moore Stephens has given me the opportunity to build some great relationships with clients and intermediaries and I’m looking forward to my future career.’’
