Having collaborated with Amels to build the yacht, the 242 is described by Amels as an “aesthetic masterpiece.” Plvs Vltra features a steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure, with her exterior design completed by Tim Heywood.
Interior design was completed by Winch Design, however according to reports, owners will be able to customise the interior to suit their own personal tastes.
On board, Plv Vltra is able to accommodate 12 guests across six guest cabins and 23 crew members. Cabins include a large owner’s suite situated on the upper deck, along with two main deck VIPs. Standout features include a large infinity pool on the main deck aft with tenders stored on either side below, a hot tub on the sun deck, and a touch-and-go helipad on the bridge deck.
Plvs Vltra is powered by two diesel engines, able to reach a top speed of 16 knots, and a cruising speed of 15 knots. With 155,000L fuel tanks, she has a range of 5,000nm when cruising at 12.5 knots.
