In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Dutch design studio, Mulder Design recently unveiled its new superyacht concept at the Monaco Yacht Show, which took place between 28th September and 1st October 2016.
The 72m motoryacht has a slick and elegant exterior, with lines that have become synonymous with the studio’s signature designs over the years; available as either a traditional displacement yacht or with a high-speed cruising hull.
Beyond aesthetics, the designers have also focused on the yacht’s social potential. Deck spaces are arranged to flow together seamlessly, converging on the 12.5m wide beach lounge located on the lower deck, which itself creates a spacious entertainment area for sunset cruising with family and friends.
The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and 22 crew; the owner’s suite on the upper deck provides amazing panoramic views out, while the main deck hosts two spacious VIP suites with private balconies. The lower deck then houses the remaining six cabins.
The interior design of the project remains open to input from the client.
On board there is also a touch-and-go helicopter platform to allow for easy boarding in remote locations. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the 72m will be able to reach a top speed of 19 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar 2,525kW engines. She has an expected range of 5,500nm when travelling at 12 knots.
