New 44m M/Y Poseidon concept unveiled by Rossinavi

After recently unveiling the 48m Palladium yacht concept, Rossinavi has also now unveiled the new 44m M/Y Poseidon concept. The Poseidon concept is a modern, robust expedition inspired yacht, with both exterior as well as interior design by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi.

Poseidon is intended to be a robust, explorer yacht which can cruise around the world comfortably and safely. Built from aluminium, it has four decks, with bright and spacious luxury interiors.

Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi commented, “Poseidon is designed as a “go-anywhere exploration yacht” and the construction in Ice Class 1B permits this yacht to navigate in areas where it’s likely to encounter floating ice. The main impact of this ice class is the reinforced “ice belt” around the hull able to resist impact loads even greater than 55 tons per square metre. The entire yacht project contains all aspects of this specific regulation under the technical point of view, emphasising the right relevance to specific needs in navigation systems, comforts and living spaces.”

Described by designer Enrico Gobbi as “military and luxury”, the semi displacement vessel offers a 10,000 mile range and has overall lines that are very architectural. The naval architecture and marine engineering of the explorer yacht Poseidon has been developed by Arrabito Naval Architects.

With eight vertical windows on both sides of the main deck that give great light inside the formal dining area and gym, it also has a semi-circular “glass house” master suite on the upper deck that guarantees the owner a splendid view over the sea.

The most striking aspect of Poseidon is its stylish stern, which includes a fantastic, enclosed pool and beach area. The glass pool located aft has a diamond-cut bottom edge just above the yacht name showing through the water. The main deck cockpit also has a large dining table for all the yacht’s guests, and a sitting area with sun pads adjacent the pool.
