New 47m Perini Navi sailing sloop

Perini Navi has unveiled its newest 47m sailing yacht design, which has been created by its experienced design team, led by Franco Romani.

A number of innovative features are present in the new design, including a lifting keel that will lower the fully extended draft of the 47m from 9.5m to 3.9m to allow her to enter shallow harbours and lagoons without damaging the coral below.

She has been designed with similar lines and the same on-board power storage system that features on the defining Perini sailing yachts, 70m S/Y Sybaris and 38m S/Y Dahlak, allowing power to be delivered to certain sail handling systems while she is underway.

The new 47m has a glass-wrapped flybridge that leads down to a duel level aft deck, providing a safe cockpit when sailing, and an extended beach deck platform for guests to enjoy while at anchor.

With 160 square metres of exterior deck space she offers more than outdoor living space than any Perini Navi yacht of equivalent length. Her tender is stored inside the foredeck, which itself can be covered by a large bimini to offer yet more exterior areas on board.
