New Alu Marine Range of Trawler Catamarans

NEW CONSTRUCTION
Firstly announced in 58 feet version/17.60 meters, the first model of this new range of trawler catamarans will be built in 65 feet version/19.85 meters. Construction at the Alu Marine shipyard will start on September 2011 for delivery end 2012.
The 58’ and 65’ trawlers have been developed by the Alu Marine shipyard and the Stirling Design International (SDI) design office.

Alu Marine and SDI have succeeded to combine large living spaces, elegant hull lines, performances, comfort and accessibility to berths.

With an optimum width for access in most marinas and anchorages, this new range has the particularity to offer an interesting alternative to traditional monohulls, with more space on board and excellent stability. Indeed the 65 feet version offers a large saloon, a large owner suite, four guest cabins and a crew cabin.

The first model will be built in 65 feet version. She is also now available in 58 feet version. This new range will be completed with new models very soon…

TRAWLER 65 – NEW 2011-2012 ALU MARINE CONSTRUCTION
This 65 feet model, with innovative and modern design, offers many assets:

Optimum size
With only 5.90 meters wide (19’36’’), this catamaran can find a mooring place in most marinas and anchorages. 

Comfortable and functional layouts
Particularly spacious, this trawler offers, in addition to the owner cabin, four guest cabins in her hulls. In addition, a crew cabin is fitted in the front with a dedicated bathroom.
The owner cabin, located to the front of the main deck, offers large spaces and a panoramic view onto the exterior.
The interior helmsman console gives a direct access to the flybridge with the tender on the aft part.
Spacious, the flybridge is an attractive and comfortable living area with a large sunbed - the perfect place to relax.
The boat will be equipped with an aft platform for swimming and for the tender.
The modern accommodation can be customized according to the customers’ requests. 

An efficient and stable boat
Equipped with two powerful engines of 480 HP complying with the latest environmental standards, she can easily reach 21 knots in high comfort. 

A non ordinary design
Designed for a EC classification in B category, this modern trawler has benefited from the latest developments in design and engineering. Built in aluminum by the Alu Marine shipyard, this new trawler yacht is the guarantee of durability and high quality.

CONSTRUCTION - DESIGN
This new range has been developped by the Alu Marine shipyard and the Stirling Design International design office.
Alu Marine shipyard has specialized in the construction of aluminum boats for 25 years with a long experience in large cruising yachts. Monohulls and multihulls, for cruising, expeditions or charter, they are known for their comfort, stability and strength.
Expert also in construction of professional units, Alu Marine build each model to high professional standards and therefore guarantee every unit is produced to the highest quality of construction.
Stirling Design International (SDI) is a French firm of naval designers and architects, specialised in megayachts and bluewater cruisers. It draws up plans and design innovative boats with modern lines and excellent sea-keeping qualities.
