Cape Scott Yachts has revealed their latest design; a 42m (137ft) go-anywhere explorer yacht, with accommodation for 12 guests and a crew of up to six.
Hull specification across the entire range has also been increased to Lloyd’s Ice Class 1C, making Cape Scott the only luxury yacht builder to offer Ice Class hulls as standard.
The Cape Scott 137 is a serious alternative to the best that Northern European manufacturers have to offer. Built at one of the world’s most advanced shipyards, Cape Scott combines cost efficiency with uncompromising quality standards to offer customers a semi-custom steel and aluminium motor yacht at a cost equivalent to production-built fibreglass alternatives.
Simon Billington, managing director of Private Yacht Group (European Agents for Cape Scott Yachts) commented, “You may not be contemplating a voyage through the Northwest Passage, but it’s still reassuring to know that you and your family have one of the toughest hulls in the world underneath you.”
