New layout announced for Yachts Miami Beach 2017

Organisers of Yachts Miami Beach have announced that the show, due to take place next month, is to feature a new layout for 2017.

The show’s 29th edition will run from the 16th until the 20th February, covering over 1.2 million square feet of space across Indian Creek Waterway in Miami. The show’s new layout features five new ticket entrances and a VIP area - with help from landscape architecture firm EDSA.

In a statement, senior vice president and COO of Show Management Dane Graziano commented, “EDSA has translated our vision for engagement between exhibitors and buyers into a new strategic and aesthetically pleasing design for Yachts Miami Beach.

“We have expanded show marketing this year to share our excitement about this great new experience planned for Miami Beach boat show weekend in February.”

Vice president of consumer marketing Brett Keating also told local news website Trade Only Today, “It’s a newly designed layout. We will have five gates along Collins Avenue – nice entryways and ticketing and information at each booth. And on the opposite side of them, via the water side, we’ll also have entrances because people will be able to arrive to the show by water taxi.

“We have a new VIP venue on the Grand Floridian yacht. Tickets to the yacht, which cost $125 per person per day, enable access to the boat, private bathrooms on board, dining all day (including breakfast, lunch and evening tapas), open bar, entertainment and an ‘experience deck’.”

Organisers also announced that Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island will be the new Superyacht Miami location.
