New marine services at Abell Point Marina ensure superyacht berthing is easier than ever

Already well established with state-of-the-art marine facilities, Abell Point Marina in Queensland, Australia is about to add two more exceptional guest services to its community in order to make travel by sea, road and air even easier for visiting guests.

The two new services, which were added in response to guest feedback, include a concierge vehicle and dedicated helicopter service - perfect to cater to the needs of visiting superyachts, and taking the hassle out of the boating experience.

Paul Darrouzet, owner  of Abell Point Marina said, “It’s all part of our bid to bring back good old-fashioned service. For example, the concierge vehicle will be available for private marina customers to use so they can run into town and pick up provisions or visit the local shops without having to worry about a taxi or hire car.”

For those hoping to travel further afield, the soon-to-commence helicopter service will provide transfers to and from Proserpine airport, and out over the Whitsundays making exploring the area a breeze.

Additionally, a luxury pick-up service will ensure that customers flying into Hamilton Island from Sydney and Melbourne are now catered to with a quick and easy transfer to the mainland. A 10 minute flight will ensure guests arrive on the mainland in style, and with minimum fuss.

Paul continued, “We really want to help our guests as much as possible throughout their stay. So from the minute you arrive with our daily dockhand service meeting you at your berth to grab your lines, to the second you leave, we’ll be there for you.”

The new concierge vehicle and luxury private pick-up service from Proserpine Airport is now available for marina customers, with the helicopter service commencing with Heli Taxi in early 2015.
