New multi touch screen navigation interface installed

Estay Electronics, a specialist in designing high quality equipment and bespoke solutions for all vessels is the first company in Europe to install the Navnet TZ Touch platform in a classic sailing yacht.

The Navnet TZ Touch platform is a high-sensitivity, wireless, multi touch screen, offering easy control.  Navigation is simplified by using the fingertips to zoom and pan around the chart and a variety of other screens.

A valued customer requested the instalment of this innovative system during one of its frequent stops at Astilleros de Mallorca.

Furuno Electric introduced the award-winning technology to the USA earlier this year; however it is not yet available in Europe.

In order to meet with the delivery date required by the yacht; the new system had to be supplied directly from Japan.

The assistance of the Furuno Spain technicians during the installation was said to have turned this sneak preview into a unique team work experience.
