New Westport 130’ motor yacht launched

Westport Shipyard has announced the successful launch of the twelfth hull in its 40-metre series. The Westport superyacht hull ‘4012’ represents the 40^th 130’ vessel delivered by the US shipyard.

Alex Rogers, director of sales at Westport said, “We are very proud to be delivering this, the 12^th 40m, featuring a rich contemporary raised panel mahogany interior.”

ABS classified and MCA compliant, the luxury yacht is a high-performance tri-deck vessel, providing accommodation for up to ten guests. According to Westport, she represents a landmark of achievement in large yacht design and US craftsmanship, following in the footsteps of other models in the series.

Since 1964, Westport has taken a long-term view of the future, and has invested heavily in personnel, design, naval architecture, infrastructure, engineering and proven technologies.

The news of hull ‘4012’ comes shortly after the company announced the successful launch of their third motor yacht of the year, hull ‘54’, earlier in August, belonging to the Westport 112’ series.

Westport currently builds luxury motor yachts 112’, 125’, 130’ and 164’, at three shipyards in Washington State.
