NSSLGlobal has been named ‘VSAT Service Provider of the Year’ at the 2015 VSAT Industry Awards, which celebrates the companies and individuals working to drive innovation and accelerate the pace of achievement in the VSAT industry.
NSSLGlobal impressed the judging panel with its flexibility, leading download and upload speeds, innovation, commitment to customer service and the diversity of its customer base.Sally Anne Ray, managing director at NSSLGlobal said, “Despite holding around an 8% share of the VSAT market and having been in the satellite communications business for 33 years, many people still see NSSLGlobal as the industry’s best-kept-secret. Winning accolades such as this award is an important part of building wider awareness and is great validation for our VSAT services.
“As a business we’re customer-centric and continually evaluate the market, looking at ways to improve our service to meet customer needs before they even ask. We were the first VSAT provider to implement DVBS2, and because we own our network, we have the flexibility to ensure we always meet customer needs and ensure they enjoy the benefits of increased speeds, availability and wider coverage.”
Mark Callender, conference organiser for the VSAT Awards, also weighed in on NSSLGlobal’s win. He said, “NSSLGlobal received the VSAT Service Provider of the Year award based on the scope and range of its services, as well as the positive impact its services offer. Its work with Hospital Lumiere is testament to the excellent work NSSLGlobal does in challenging operational environments. My congratulations once again go to the NSSLGlobal team on this fantastic achievement.”
Adrian Harrow, marketing communications manager at NSSLGlobal, accepted the award on the company’s behalf at the presentation ceremony on 17th September at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
