OAYS build their project management team in time for busy refit season

Other Angle Yachting Services was pleased to welcome two highly experienced project managers to their team this autumn, in time for the start of the busy refit season.

Fabrice Garau (pictured right) and Sam Ashley (pictured left) each join OAYS with over a decade of experience working on the world’s most prestigious and challenging superyacht refit projects alongside JC Lenoir at ITM shipyard in Marseille.

As respected project managers, Garau and Ashley are well known in the business and have each worked on in excess of 50 superyacht refit and maintenance projects over the years. Their knowledge of the field is outstanding, and combined with the facilities and management team at OAYS, they strengthen the offering to superyachts around the world from the Toulon yard.

JC Lenoir of OAYS commented, “We are delighted to welcome Fabrice and Sam to the team here in Toulon. I have known the two of them professionally for over a decade and am confident that they will bring huge value to what we have to offer our clients here.”

It has been a busy few months for the Other Angle Yachting Services team in Toulon since the end of the Mediterranean charter season, and they have welcomed back many valued clients as well as introducing some new ones to their facilities and team.

They carried out a full rebuild of the main engines as well as general maintenance on 87.8m Feadship M/Y Fountainhead, and an extensive refit on 62.3m Feadship M/Y Virginian. The 58.0m Amels M/Y Astrid Conroy (ex Gu) visited their Toulon yard for the first time, and M/Y Odessa, M/Y Odessa II, M/Y Perfect Persuasion and M/Y Lady Tahiti all returned for regular maintenance and refit works at the end of a busy summer season.
