In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Ocean Safety will be inviting yacht owners to familiarise themselves with essential on-board safety equipment when the company opens its doors to customers at its Southampton depot on 8th November 2014, between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
Guests are invited to bring their own liferafts, lifejackets and other serviceable on-board safety equipment to be checked by Ocean Safety’s expert team. General demonstrations will be held throughout the day and appointments can be made to have specific equipment opened and checked. This equipment can then be left for servicing and can be collected at a later date. During the day there will be plenty to see and do and the experts will be on hand to answer questions.
Alistair Hackett, general manager of Ocean Safety explained, “We are repeating the successful open days that we have held regularly in the past. Boat owners and crews appreciate one-to-one advice and guidance. It is very interesting for them to see a liferaft being inflated for example, because hopefully not many of them have ever had to use one.”
Visitors to the Southampton open day will also witness and take part in flare demonstrations and personal R10 AIS survival recovery system demonstrations.
