Oceanco has presented a new 90m superyacht concept, named Sunny Memories.
Working in collaboration with Dennis Ingemansson Design, the exterior design of Sunny Memories is based on the Oceanco hull platform of steel with an aluminium superstructure, and features aerodynamic lines which, according to Oceanco, give the impression of “speed and power.”
While the interior designer is yet to be announced, on board she has accommodation for 12 guests over six guest cabins. She features a “comprehensive” owners’ suite on the upper deck which includes a private lobby, gym and massage room, private whirlpool, and TV room. The main deck also provides access to a large dining area and saloon which opens up on to the pool deck.
Dennis Ingemansson commented on the design process, “Her lines are inspired by the ‘Belle Epoque’ period. Art Nouveau emerged from this period, which was characterised by optimism, regional peace, economic prosperity and technological, scientific and cultural innovations.
“This unique and largely decorative art movement distinguished by its curvilinear forms and nature-inspired motifs, is what I wanted to sketch: Elegant and sleek timeless exterior lines with classic and modern detailing. And still with my eyes closed, the dancing lines progressed into a beautiful superyacht design.”
Sunny Memories is powered by twin engines of 4,830hp each, and is able to reach a maximum speed of 20 knots.
