Oculus Technologies has recently announced the launch of the iPad application for YachtEye, which will be on display at Monaco Yacht Show later this month. The YachtEye application follows a series of developments and changes to YachtEye over the last 12 months.
These changes have included new modules and updates to graphics and technology. The application is specifically designed to offer tablet users a more interactive experience of the multitouch YachtEye.
As well as being able to view, explore and enjoy the features of a personalised YachtEye, this application provides additional interaction and new user experiences. With the ability to search specifications of nearby yachts, links to information databases and options to browse through overviews of the dayʼs onboard activities, schedule and photos, the YachtEye application is fully focused on personalised, secure infotainment.
The YachtEye application will be officially launched at Monaco Yacht Show 2012 where the product will be on display and demonstrations available. YachtEye will also be featured on several dealer stands at the show including Van berge Henegouwen, Tijssen Elektro, Telemar Yachting and Advanced New Technologies Ltd (ANT). The Monaco Yacht Show is taking place from 19th to 22nd September, where Yachting Pages will also be exhibiting its products and services at stand QS20 in Darse Sud.
Stefan van Cleef, co-owner of Oculus Technologies said, “When we first launched YachtEye Portable in 2011 our ambition was to develop an App that could really offer users an enhanced experience. We wanted to ensure that the App was more than just a copy of the personalised YachtEye features and an extension of the existing product. We wanted the App to offer extra features, more interaction, more infotainment and take the experience of YachtEye to another level. We have taken our time and made sure the YachtEye App offers all of this and more. We are delighted to be launching this new and exciting addition to our YachtEye product range.”
