Online nominations open for Asia Boating Awards 2017

Online nominations are now open for the 2017 Asia Boating Awards, now in its 13^th year. The awards are said to celebrate the ‘best of the best’ in Asian and international yachting

Votes are welcome to be cast by everyone including readers of Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, yacht owners, sailors and industry professionals. Voters are invited to state which boats, brands, marinas, clubs, shows and regattas deserve to be recognised as the best in the Asian yachting scene.

Voters can nominate their preferences across any of the 26 categories covering Asian and international yacht builders, motor yachts, sailing yachts, regattas, marinas and yacht clubs, as well as personalities and charter companies.

New categories for 2017 include Best Sportscruiser, Best Flybridge Yacht, Best Explorer Yacht and Best Recreational Boat. Other categories include Best Asian Yacht Builder, Best Yacht Design, and Best Asian Marina.

The online nominations will then determine the shortlist submitted to the panel of expert judges who choose the winners of the 2017 Asia Boating Awards.

Organisers of the show said, “The deadline for nominations is Sunday 12^th March at noon (Hong Kong time). All voters will receive a free two-month digital subscription to Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines.”

Yachting Pages will be attending the awards, due to take place on Wednesday 5^th April at ONE°15 Marina Club, ahead of the Singapore Yacht Show.
