Organic and gluten-free provisioning proves to be popular

Bodrum Yacht Services is pleased to announce their organic and gluten-free provisioning options has proven to be popular amongst guests who actively support sustainable farming, local farmers’ markets and healthy food choices all around.

Three years is the all-important period that land has to be farmed organically before it can be certified free of any earlier fertilizers or sprays, which is why many local farmers do not yet qualify as providers of organic foods, but many have gleaned the importance of this market and are actively implementing the necessary requirements for their products.

For beef and lamb, Bodrum Yacht Services has sourced a farmer in nearby Yaliciftlik with a family herd.  Their fishmonger has been extremely eliminating all farm fish, out of season catches, and African imported shellfish.

Bodrum Yacht Services also work with a number of family-operated organic wineries throughout Turkey, with some very exciting grape varieties and combinations.
