Otam announces sale of its new 85 GTS unit

Italian shipyard Otam Yachts has announced the sale of its first 26-metre (85-foot) GTS unit, just one month after the project launched.

The 85 GTS project has been developed to allow maximum customisation possibilities in terms of aesthetics and technical details. As a result, the yacht will be fully customised by the yard in close collaboration with the owner’s design team.

The 85 GTS will boast distinctive design features that separate her from all other Otam models previously built.

In a recent release, the Italian shipyard stated, “It was the owner himself who, after appreciating the first concept of the Otam 85 GTS with its particularly futuristic profile inspired by the world of supercars, asked the yard to develop a classic, open version that was better suited to his taste and personal style.

“No Otam unit is even vaguely like any other. The result will be a 26-metre boat with customised aesthetics that preserves the purest OTAM DNA in every aspect, from the internal layout to every single detail.”

The deep-V hull will ensure maximum stability both when moored and cruising. Like all Otam boats, the bottom of the 85 GTS will be designed to ensure comfort and safe travelling at high speeds, even in moderate seas.

The yard will distribute official project drawings and specs in the coming months.
