Taking place between Friday 28th April and Tuesday 2nd May at the old port area at Muelle Viejo, the fifth edition of the Palma Superyacht Show will showcase an impressive selection of world-class superyachts for sale and charter, and an array of international businesses, with a mix of around 70 motor and sailing yachts expected in attendance.
Pierre Oberon, managing director of the Palmawatch shipyard said, “This year, organisers of the Palma Superyacht Show have added a dedicated section for companies involved in yacht refit and repair activities to be represented at the show. We’re very happy, as this is a perfect opportunity for Palmawatch to have a stand on the dockside; we will be able to showcase our skills and expertise and meet up with clients old and new in an informal and relaxed setting.”
Announced in December 2016, the new Refit & Repair sector will be positioned under the iconic Palma Cathedral, and will boast 22 new stands, supported by a bar for networking and socialising, and a large tent. Here there will be cutting-edge presentations and product launches taking place.
Speaking in a statement in December, Palma Superyacht Show organisers said, “Palma de Mallorca boasts a booming big-boat maintenance business and has become the Mediterranean’s most popular spot for yacht servicing and maintenance. The increase of new companies, employees and space occupied by yachts under refit over the last few years, is a true testament to this.”
