The shareholders of Italian shipyard, Perini Navi, have appointed Fabio Boschi to the post of chairman of the board of directors, and Fabio Perini as honorary chairman.
Boschi, 43, has been CEO of Perini Navi’s holding company, Faper Group since 2009; a group that controls an assembly of companies that operate in paper machinery, real estate and various other industries.
He is also a member of the advisory board of real estate funds and business park management companies in Europe and South America, has previously been in charge of investment banking for a major Italian bank, and, for a decade, worked in strategic consulting and corporate finance with KPMG in Italy and the United Kingdom.
Fabio Perini, founder of Perini Navi said of Boschi’s appointment, “I am extremely happy to have Fabio Boschi on board with Perini Navi. This step completes a long term strategy to strengthen and reinforce our management and ensure continuity and sustainability throughout the group.”
