Port de Sète calls for superyacht berthing development bids

Port de Sète has announced that it is now accepting tenders for the development of its marina facility in the South of France, with plans to add 350m of additional quays for superyachts.

Already equipped with berths for luxury yachts up to 60m long, the marina has announced that the additional quays will initially be used for cruise activities, accommodating superyachts from 25 to 150m LOA.

In a recent statement, representatives of the port said, “This call for proposals aims to generate interest in the submission of proposals for the development of a megayacht berthing service at the Port of Sète, which includes the development of the site intended for yachts, the welcome and facilitation of stopovers and the management of quays and equipment.

“This call for proposals is open to all candidates, irrespective of their nationality.”

The consultation will allow the successful candidate a Temporary Occupancy Agreement (TOA) of the public port domain.

Tenders should be submitted to the Etablissement Public Regional Port Sud de France with a deadline of Thursday 17th August 2017 at 12:00pm UTC.
