Porto Montenegro offers tax and duty-free fuel to superyachts

In a bid to become one of the most upcoming yachting hubs in the world, Porto Montenegro has now started offering tax and duty-free fuel to private and commercial vessels of up to 180-metres in length, at a cost that is approximately 45% less than the retail price.

The dedicated fuel dock, which has a stock of up to 800,000 litres of duty-free diesel, is positioned at the end of Jetty Three where there are three fueling berths in total, plus a tender and jet-ski pontoon.

With no minimum limit or registration restrictions, plus no additional fees, the dock operates all year around and offers clear in/out whilst refueling via its onsite customs and immigration office.

The three fueling berths are able to facilitate yachts up to 200m LOA with a draft of 15m, and the quality of fuel delivered is inspected by Inspectorate/Bureau Veritas. The facility has a maximum flow rate of 1,000 litres per minute, helping the marina to build on its reputation as one of the finest superyacht berthing areas in the world.
