Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Yachts attending The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro, from 2nd to 5th July 2015, will take up residence at Porto Montenegro, the region’s foremost superyacht marina facility.
When speaking of their partnership with Boat International, Oliver Corlette, managing drector of Porto Montenegro said, “Porto Montenegro is delighted to be working with Boat International to host next year’s Superyacht Rendezvous. With the event moving from Monaco, considered the world’s centre of yachting, to Porto Montenegro, we will firmly position not only the marina, but also Montenegro, as a premiere homeport for superyachts in the Mediterranean”.
Owners attending the event will feel at home surrounded by the venue’s world-class facilities that offer onshore provisions to complement the superyacht lifestyle found on board. Porto Montenegro currently offers 400 berths for yachts 12 to 180m. The event welcomes both sailing and motor superyachts from 30m and upward.
Marina facilities are complemented by the five-star Regent Hotel and Residences, shops, restaurants, sports and leisure facilities and 200 luxury waterfront residences. Beyond this, Porto Montenegro boasts the luxurious Lido Mar Pool Club, around which the nautical season’s must attend opening party will take place as part of The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro social programme.
Yachts will partake in a lively 'yacht hop' including a champagne reception and entertainment on the dock. Yachts of the Superyacht Rendezvous will explore the Bay of Kotor during a relaxing cruise in company around the stunning waters and guests will be able to enjoy activities and culture presented by the region.
