Following Heesen’s recent open day in the centre of London, upon which yacht brokers and special guests were invited aboard the recently refitted superyacht Ilona for a rare look inside, Heesen has organised a second open day, this time in Nice, France.
Today, from 12pm to 7pm, yacht brokers and clients are once again invited on board the 37-metre all-aluminium hull for an opportunity to see the changes that were made during her recent refit, while enjoying drinks and canapés on board.
Launched in 2007, the hull was designed by Heesen Yachts with Omega Architects completing her interior and exterior design. She accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a full beam owner’s suite, and has a Jacuzzi on her sundeck, a tender garage and swimming platform.
She is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 28 knots.
Her most recent refit, which took place at the Heesen yard in Oss, Holland, saw a complete repaint with her previously dark hull now all white.
