Royal Huisman and Pendennis join ICOMIA Refit Group

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) Superyacht Refit Group has announced the introduction of two new members; British shipyard, Pendennis, and Dutch shipbuilders, Royal Huisman

First established in 1966, ICOMIA is the international trade association that represents the global marine industry, with the Superyacht Refit Group acting as a focused sub-group with the intention to address key issues around the refit sector.

The addition of Pendennis and Royal Huisman to the group, alongside marine businesses such as Amico & Co, Astilleros de Mallorca and Blohm + Voss Repair, brings the total number of members to 11.

The remaining members include; Compositeworks, Marina Barcelona 92, Monaco Marine, NCP Repair Shipyard Sibenik Ltd, Nobsikrug, Prinmar and Rybovich.

Members of the ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group conform to a unique Code of Practice, which brings certainty to the uncertainty of yacht refit projects, easing concerns over cost, quality and management. Refit Group members also offer clients a standard framework contract developed by prominent international marine lawyers for complete peace of mind.
