Seaway Powell announces new partnership with Moore International

Precision Technology Group, one of the leading international engineering companies specialising in engineering solutions and systems, has recently announced that Moore International has been appointed as a key partner for the distribution of its V Series actuators in the UK.

This new partnership enables Moore International to supply Precision Technology Group’s wide range of UK-built electro-mechanical actuators, including the V Series actuator, the most flexible and durable ram-style actuator in the standard product portfolio.

Moore International’s association with the Precision Technology Group is represented in the UK by Seaway Powell Marine. Kate Hughes, marketing assistant at Seaway Powell explained, “Moore International are the ideal partners for us, given their experience selling Eichenberger ballscrews and their manufacturing capabilities at their factory in Dorset.”

Originally designed and built in the USA by Seaway Powell Marine’s sister companies, PT-USA and American Actuators, the V Series actuator is a rugged, flexible, low-maintenance actuator platform for linear motion control and is now being built at the Seaway Powell manufacturing facility in Dorset, UK.

The V Series actuators can be either retro-fitted or installed as part of a new mechanical system. When combined with modern servo motors and controls, electro-mechanical actuation provides nearly infinite programmability, reduced set-up times and improved control of speed, acceleration, deceleration, force and position.
