SES acquires Greenham Regis Marine Electronics

Ships Electronic Services (SES) has announced its acquisition of Greenham Regis Marine Electronics, to form Greenham Regis Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Ships Electronic Services.

Previous owners Andy Haines and Malcolm Lane join the board of the new company, alongside Stephen Roper and Paul Rees of SES.

Established in Poole in 1964 as Greenham Marine Ltd, a merger with Regis Electronics in 1997 saw them become Greenham Regis. Primarily aimed at the yachting market, the business is involved in the sale, service, and installation of marine electronic equipment.

Stephen Roper, managing director of SES, commented, “Greenham Regis has been expanding in the yacht refit business in recent years and is a very natural fit with our own leisure division.

“The company has offices along the south coast at Lymington, Southampton, Poole and Chichester and an excellent team of engineers which complements our own eight facilities around the UK.

“We can now offer local marine electronic services throughout the country to exceptionally high standards.”

SES specialises in marine electronics including satellite communications, navigation and commercial shipping.
