Following its take-over in April by Alewijnse Holding B.V., Alblasserdam-based Simnav B.V. has merged with the navigation and communications department of Alewijnse Marine Systems to create Admarel B.V.
All activities of both companies are continuing under the new name. The name Admarel stands for advanced marine electronics.
The combined company is operating from the Alblasserdam site. The company specialises in maritime electronics with a focus on sales, service, installation, engineering and product training of navigation & communication products for yachts, inland navigation, the dredging industry, ocean-going commercial vessels and the Navy.
Michiel Louwerse of Admarel B.V said, “The cooperation between various disciplines at Admarel B.V. guarantees optimal support for our customers. With our broad knowledge in the area of maritime electronics we can respond perfectly to our customers’ needs.”
The company is dealer of RAYTHEON ANSCHÜTZ Sailor, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Snap TV, Atlas shore converters and Alewijnse Inland radar.
The merger of these two leading companies makes it possible for the new business to take on and supervise more and larger projects around the world.
