Here at Yachting Pages we are often asked to prove how much our books are actually used by crew and marine businesses. We spend many hours surveying at boat shows around the world to verify statistics like our products being on board 98% of superyachts globally, or that on average our books are picked up and used on a weekly basis.
However, they say a photo is worth a thousand words and we were delighted to be given one of Hill Robinson’s copies of last year’s Yachting Pages Mediterranean directory when the team were distributing this year’s edition last week.
Michael Henson, from the marketing team at Yachting Pages, walked into yacht management company, Hill Robinson’s office in Antibes with copies of the new pink book. When the receptionist realised Michael had their new copies she called through to her colleagues and the whole team came out to greet him. Michael explained, “Everyone came over to get their new copies and I asked if they had any of last year’s books that they wanted us to dispose for them. One of the team went reluctantly to their desk and pulled out a very well used directory with tabs stuck all around it, especially in the port maps and marinas section. It was great to see how well used our books really are.”
Thanks Hill Robinson, we hope this year’s edition is just as useful!
