Superyacht Chandlers hosts crew party at the carnival capital Viareggio

Superyacht Chandlers International Yacht Suppliers recently organised what they are calling the carnival crew party of the year. On Thursday the 12th of February right in the middle of the world famous Viareggio Carnival, Superyacht Chandlers hosted an action packed day which began at 6:00 pm with competitions, activities, live music, food and drinks.

Viareggio reached the milestone of 142 years of its manifestation, and it did it in style with five extraordinary masked courses on the Viareggio Avenues, which run along the sea.

The parades drew thousands of visitors of all ages, who come to see both the spectacular floats and parade as well as participate in the festivities.

For a whole month, from the 1st to 28th February, Viareggio transforms into the factory of fun, including night parties, fireworks, masked balls, theatre, culinary events and big sporting events worldwide.

Its main characteristic is given by the parade of floats and masks, usually made of paper-pulp, depicting caricatures of popular people, such as politicians, showmen and sportsmen.
