Each year, whilst attending the many boat shows, Yachting Pages sends a dedicated team to walk the docks surveying captains and crews. The surveys reveal feedback on the industry, their portfolio of products and what challenges crews face.
Now Yachting Pages has collated this worldwide research in a new survey section accessible from the homepage of Yachtingpages.com. The survey gives a breakdown of over three years’ worth of industry insight, which was conducted at some of the most prestigious boat shows in the world such as: Monaco Yacht Show, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and Cannes Yachting Festival as well as hundreds of captains and crew out at anchor in the Mediterranean.
Michael Henson, website and digital marketing executive at Yachting Pages said, “To be honest, I’m one of the lucky ones who gets to travel to exotic places speaking to captains and crews; they’re always really friendly and willing to engage with us, which is great; we get some really useful feedback.
“These surveys reinforce our position as a leading superyacht media group, because we relate to the crew and take the time and effort to understand their challenges; with findings such as ‘98% of superyachts surveyed have a copy of Yachting Pages on board’ and ‘91% plan on using Yachtingpages.com in the next 12 months, you can see why we’re proud.”
Yachting Pages is delighted to share its growth as well as pass on other key findings directly from captains and crew that the superyacht industry would find useful.
Michael added, “The superyacht industry in general seems to be more closed off than other industries. Yachting Pages Media Group wants to break this mould and encourage others to share information and research and help the industry grow as a whole.
“We actively conduct market research each year that is not only for Yachting Pages’ benefit, but for others in the superyacht industry.”
