SuperYacht Gallery London has released the programme for its upcoming seminars, taking place at London’s Saatchi Gallery from 1st to 3rd June 2017.
Important industry figures will lead seminars and discussion panels on the experiences, insights and innovations of the world’s renowned shipyards, designers and luxury brands.
According to the SuperYacht Gallery London, the event focuses on educating guests and answering any ‘burning questions’ from current and potential superyacht owners. Superyacht builders and designers will be on hand throughout the seminars and workshops to share their stories and experiences of the industry.
The event will begin at 12pm on Thursday 1st June, with a seminar from Winch Design, followed by design studio Claydon Reeves discussing the process of design. Art and design studio Arik Levy will cover the topic ‘Mineral Intimacy’, while Devialet will explore ‘The Future of Sound: The Evolution of Audio Consumption’.
Shipyards Rossinavi, Nobiskrug and Balk Shipyard each have their own seminar spots to give out insights and exclusive project announcements. A VIP Cognac tasting courtesy of Hennessy at 3.30pm breaks up the day, before the event draws to a close at 6pm.
Friday 2nd June begins with a panel discussion from SuperYacht Gallery’s very own Merijn de Waard. Heesen Yachts will discuss designing a superyacht around an art collection, and Baglietto will explore the scope of the Italian Shipping Industry.
Another panel discussion featuring industry heavyweights Lürssen, Espen Oeino International and Edmiston brings design, building and brokerage all into one conversation. Finally, superyacht owners have their time to lead the discussion until the day’s close at 6pm.
The final day of the event on Saturday 3rd June, sees shipyards Amels and Benetti discuss speed, style, and safety. Breed Media’s Jeff Brown considers superyacht photography, and lastly, popular blogger and influencer The Yacht Guy will discuss the ins and outs of social media in the superyacht industry.
