One of the world leaders in superyacht hydraulics, Cramm Yachting Systems, was present at the recent Monaco Yacht Show, focusing on superyacht heligrids and their ideal solution.
It is vital that the helicopter is firmly anchored in rough seas and high winds and Cramm were exploring the key issue of how pilots can land safely in all conditions on superyacht heligrids.
Using Cramm’s solution, immediately after landing, the helicopter uses a harpoon to attach itself to the landing grid installed in the platform. This grid is made of special high-tensile stainless steel that meets the most stringent NATO requirements.
There are four types of heligrids available to meet the needs of every type of helicopter: the HLS 3, HLS 6 and HLS 10 as standard and the HLS HD upon request.
During the September boat shows, the voice of Rob Knoop, director of Cramm Yachting Systems, became a regular feature for listeners to Riviera Radio Top Yachts. As the station’s guest on 16th September, Rob informed listeners about what Cramm has to offer, reflected on the company’s outstanding achievements over the past sixty years, and looked forward to the latest trends in the industry. On the 25th September, Riviera Radio turned to Cramm again to hear about Rob’s experiences at and expectations of the Monaco Yacht Show.
Cramm has also announced that they will be present at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which starts on the 30th October 2014.
