Superyacht hotel in the heart of London's docklands.

The 120m superyacht Sunborn London travelled up the Thames to its destination berth in the East End of the UK's capital earlier this week.  It has joined a fleet of other Sunborn floating hotels, located in Barcelona and Gibraltar. The company says the concept is to provide superyacht luxury that is modern and affordable.

Opening in spring 2014 the Sunborn London will be located on the waterfront at the western end of the Royal Victoria Dock, within a short walk of the main entrance of ExCel London. (Conveniently placed for those considering attending the London Boat Show next year)

Sunborn London will become an important landmark in one of the city’s most affluent commercial areas and will become a very popular choice for business or leisure travellers.

The 4-Star deluxe yacht hotel will incorporate 138 spacious guest rooms over five floors including several suites, along with an elegant reception area, bar and lounge, fine-dining restaurant, banqueting facilities, auditorium, conference rooms, and a three-level event venue with outdoor terraces facing towards Canary Wharf and the Siemens Crystal.

Based in Turku, Finland, Sunborn is a property development and investment company that owns and operates hotels in mainland Europe.  Its London “yacht hotel” will have its soft opening onthe 7th April.
