Superyacht recreated in Lego

Engineering student and artist Keith Orlando has created an incredible megayacht structure, made entirely out of Lego.

The structure itself is 180cm long and rumoured to be modelled on Roman Abramovich’s Eclipse. The megayacht features six floors, each featuring intricate detail and all the luxury expected on board a megayacht.

From the exterior, notable features include several sunbathing areas, two swimming pools and private deck for the owners, featuring its own bar.

Inside, Lego enthusiast Orlando has recreated the engine room of the yacht including its main engines, as well as the bridge featuring a Lego captain.

There are four twin guest cabins with a bar opposite, as well as a bedroom with ensuite which could be the owner’s suite or a VIP master suite. Other standout features recreated by Orlando include a concert hall, gym on board, bowling alley, dance floor, casino, separate sushi and ice cream bar and indoor swimming pool with a swim-up bar.

Lego and megayachts have been featured together once before, in a slightly different way. In 2014, architect Lujac Desautel designed a glass superyacht, taking inspiration from Lego and turning the idea into a glass structure.
