Tenerife Offshore & Shipping Agency has been appointed as the Spanish partner for Navette Plus Crew Services international crew agency, allowing it to provide fast customs and clearances for yachts entering the Schengen Area.
According to Tenerife Offshore & Shipping, by partnering with Navette Plus Crew Services, it will be able to take advantage of its specialities and experience in short-notice crew changes in the Schengen space, often taking just five minutes to turn around.
Thierry B. Verstraete, CEO of Tenerife Offshore & Shipping Agency, explained that clients will have at their disposal the most experienced and talented actors of crew clearances in the Schengen Area.
He said, “Thanks to Navette Plus Crew Services, we can now provide customs and clearances for yachts in just five minutes; this comes at a great time, as we are soon expecting a rush of ships and superyachts as they make their way back from the Caribbean to start their Mediterranean season, as well as an increase in sailing yachts travelling through for the America’s Cup which takes place in Bermuda next month.
“We are very pleased to partner with Navette Plus Crew Services, as its team is aware of all the maritime world’s specifications, as they have been handling European crew changes since the very beginning. This is especially important for us here at Tenerife Offshore & Shipping as we have offices in Tenerife and Las Palmas – a crucial point for superyachts crossing to and from the Caribbean.”
To cope with the increasing demands of captains and engineers in Tenerife, Tenerife Offshore & Shipping has also just opened a new chandlery in Santa Cruz in time for the crossing season, called Tenerife Offshore Supply.
