The 45m Clan VIII, designed by Perini naval architects in collaboration with Ron Holland from New Zealand and launched in 2011, will be representing Perini Navi. Clan VIII has all of the best features that typify Perini Navi yachts: technology, comfort, elegance and performance. The yacht has a 52m high mast designed and built in-house at Perini Navi that mounts an upwind sail plan of over 900 square meters. Exterior spaces include a large fly bridge and a transom that opens to become a seven square meter beach deck. A port side shell door also can also be opened to become a launching platform for tenders and toys.
The regatta, organised by the ISAF International Race Officers and by Real Club Nautico de Palma, will also have an intense social programme starting with the Registration Day on the 18th June and continuing through all three days of the event right up to the final prize ceremony on 21st June.
