The Portshade blind, from leading marine shading experts Oceanair, is an ultra-slim cassette roller blind suitable for even the smallest rectangular windows and hatches onboard boats and yachts of all sizes. It can be used for vertical or horizontal surfaces, with the added benefit of also being well suited for curved surfaces. The blind housing is available in White, Silver anodised and Beige.
The Portshade design incorporates 100% blackout fabric ensuring light removal and increased privacy onboard. Made to withstand the marine environment, the blind fabric has a water repellent coating as well as UV protection to resist fading and sun damage. Furthermore, small marks can be removed by gently rubbing with a rubber eraser that will probably be onboard inside the chart table!
Portshade is easy to fit with all mounting hardware and instructions provided, and a simple single screw fixing at each end is all it takes to install. A choice of fixing to hold the Portshade in place when in use creates total flexibility and includes a peg option, toggle, long toggle or mini grip option. The blind comes in a range of standard sizes, although custom sizes are available by special order.
Available in the Oceanair Marine Retail Range, for a complete list of Portshade standard sizes, measurement and installation guides and stockist information, please visit www.oceanair.co.uk
