Crew training company The Training Academy, has announced a new series of marine surveying seminars, to be delivered at its facilities in Gosport, Hampshire.
The Training Academy, launched as the new classroom and tailored training division of the Maritime Services Group, announced in a statement that it “has taken over 25 years of industry experience and training knowledge and used it to create seven outstanding new classroom-based seminars for individuals in the maritime industry.”
The seminars will range in topic, from Marine Incident Investigation and Risk Assessment in Ship Operations, to The Marine Surveyor as an Expert Witness and ISM for Superyachts. According to The Training Academy, the seminars are “designed to support marine surveyors, and those in related roles to significantly expand their knowledge.”
All seminars will then by delivered by Ian Biles, “one of the world’s foremost marine surveyors”, who is also MD of The Training Academy, Maritime Training Academy and Maritime Services International.
Christine Biddle, operations director of the Maritime Services Group commented, “Having offered industry-leading maritime training internationally for so many years, I couldn’t be more excited to offer seminars of this quality from our new purpose-built facility right in the heart of the United Kingdom’s maritime industry.”
