Third Palmer Johnson SportYacht 170 delivered

The third and latest superyacht in Palmer Johnson’s SportYacht series has been delivered and named Sanam.

Ordered in summer 2014, 52m Sanam is the last Palmer Johnson yacht to be built in the US and was last seen in Florida earlier this year, as she underwent a final outfitting before her delivery. The shipyard is now to move production to Holland Jachtbouw in the Netherlands.

Sanam features an aluminium superstructure, with interior and exterior design by Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard. A standout feature on board Sanam is the large swimming pool on the foredeck, which can double up as storage to fit a 6.5m tender. Two jet skis can also be stored on the foredeck and there is a hot tub located on the sun deck.

Sanam offers accommodation for 10 guests and eight crew; guest rooms are located on the lower deck across four en-suite cabins and a full beam owner’s suite.

Power for Sanam is provided by twin MTU 16v 4000 M93L main engines with a top speed of over 30 knots. She is also fitted with gyro-stabilisers to allow comfort when cruising.
