Vantage releases new Equinox interfaces

Vantage, a world leader in lighting-centric integrated control systems for yachts and luxury spaces, has recently announced the release of Equinox 73 and companion mobile device apps for Android and iOS.

For owners and users, the refined living experience they expect is often paradoxically linked to complex control and automation solutions. Vantage’s Equinox family of products provide a simple and customisable interface that, when linked to its powerful InFusion system, delivers the means to efficiently create flexible, personalised spaces with a subtle aesthetic.

Equinox can also be uniquely personalised by users to their changing living environments. In addition, this family of products provides the integrator with a very efficient means for configuring both fixed and mobile device interfaces.

With its sleek glass-to-edge LCD touchscreen, Equinox 73 (7” screen displaying 3 full widgets) employs presence detection and light sensors to automatically wake-up to a desired personalised scenario and adjusts to ambient light conditions.

Equinox 73 users will enjoy a richer, animated control system interface experience through a prescribed control environment featuring nine pre-programmed widgets. It is simple to navigate with the swipe or tap of a finger; in addition two tactile buttons, one for home page navigation and the other for custom programming by a certified Vantage integrator.

The Equinox tablet and smartphone apps, designed for iOS and Android, are mobile manifestations of the on-wall Equinox 73 touchscreen. The apps are specifically designed to ensure that user interaction remains identical to that of the touchscreen GUI.
