Leading entertainment & AV company Videoworks has announced the completion of refit works on 47.2m M/Y Aquamarina ISA 470, performed in Australia.
Videoworks disassembled all the racks in Italy, as well as in the Videoworks headquarters lab in Ancona and then sent them to Australia, in Cairns (Queensland, Brisbane) completed, functioning and fully tested.
Three Videoworks technicians, directly sent to Australia, completely renewed both the hardware and software systems on-site. Regarding the hardware, the following has been totally upgraded:
- Net onboard - 20 access points, VLAN Controller –essential for the management of all the access points from only one source, a switch and routers for the best coverage.
- A/V racks disassembly and new racks installations, with new components: Kaleidescape, Apple TV, iTunes library, multimedia contents and an AirPlay system.
- HD in all areas thanks to latest generation TVs.
As for the software, the latest generation mini iPads, which are full customised and scattered throughout the whole boat, allow the management of the following in an easy, intuitive and quick way:
- Party mode
- Automatic system closing, thanks to the timer 30’ and 60’ sleep mode
According to Videoworks, this refit, together with the Pride Yachts M/Y Illusion new build project in China, shows the companies capabilities in the international market.
